 INTRODUCTION:
Traveling across Southeast Asia as a solo backpacker is one of the greatest joy of life.

As a real traveler,I will be bringing to you some detailed resources and travel tips to enhance your full confidence in future travel plans.

Thailand is a great place to start with as it is on an international crossroad in a strategic location within Southeast Asia with well connected air links, good roads network system, sea lanes on her western shores facing the Indian Ocean and Straits of Malacca while the South China Sea on the eastern side offers a complete holiday paradise.

Countries neighbouring Thailand beyond can be easily reached with minimal time and travel costs.

Thailand, also known as "The Land of Smile"has unique landscape, rich culture, festivals, the soft spoken Thai language and the famous "tom-yam" food cuisine.

 Travel Tips:

One of the most vital considerations when going for a vacation travel is efficient money management. It's all about savings and protecting it.

Getting the cheapest low cost airfares and finding a hostel or guesthouse accommodation will stretch the money further.

In order not to spend beyond your budget, try to have a primary and secondary pouch, either wrapped around your waist under your clothes or hung around your neck under your shirt.

Put only the required budget expenses amount of the day in your main pocket.
If you think the hotel safe deposit box is reliable, this is also a very good option.

Avoid having a wallet where all valuable items are being stored in one place.
Use credit cards only for meals and lodgings or big ticket item purchase.
Credit cards do give consumer protection and good exchange rates as well.
It is advisable to be safe then to be sorry.

Plan your itinerary and inform family or friends back home.
Have a photocopy of your passport and always carry it in a pouch hung around your neck.

If you are on medication, make sure you have enough supplies during the duration.A simple first aid kit is also a must.Get hold of a travel insurance if you deemed fit.

Eating at places where the locals go can also save on food bills.

Night travelling by buses or trains helped save on accommodation expenses.Using local bus transport instead of taxis or tuks-tuks is another ways of avoiding the scammers.

Bear in mind that hostels  are not necessary dormitories with bunk, most have cheap single and double bedrooms as well.
This is to suit most travelers who are not use to it.
Be sure to ask for bathroom facilities or check the room before you make any reservations.

Everyone of us like to travel on budget so do not have the misconception that hostel are suited to hordes of young backpackers who are on shoestring budget.
In fact most of the hostels rooms not dormitory which I've seen have a three star ratings equivalent to that of a hotel.

As for the backpackers gear, always travel light.Get a good backpack with pockets ,flaps and heavy zippers that can be locked. It is also important to buy a good pair of comfortable walking shoes, since you will be wearing them for a long time and a pair of slippers for evening uses.

So backpacking is one of the best ways to see the most places in the shortest amount of time with minimal amount of money.

Thank you so much for taking your valuable time reading and have a wonderful day ahead.
